About us

AV Entertainment L is a small business in Bournemouth. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to AV Entertainment Limited is now searching for employees to work at their Shika venue. We organise private parties, bands and other live music, brunches, football evenings, karaoke nights, dancing lessons, and we now have a kitchen and are starting to serve food. It has a vibrant and entertaining environment, yet it is also refined and sophisticated. .

We are searching for someone to join our team in preporation for the summer season! Our ideal candidate is someome that is hardworking, takes initiative, is confident, and friendly. Among your responsibilities will be

Preparing and serving premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

Taking orders and processing payments with a till

Checking consumers' identity and confirming their age

Engaging clients and informing them of current discounts

Keeping the bar area clean and orderly, including responding immediately to spills and other health and safety issues. This includes toilet checks and the outdoor area.

Stock levels are monitored and replenished as needed.

Clearing tables, washing surfaces, and running the dishwasher to ensure there is enough glassware available

If you have a keen eye to detail, and take pride in providing a high standard, welcoming customer service, then we want to hear from you! As This is bar work all applicants must be 18+

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bournemouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Bartending: 1 year (required)
• cocktail making: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night shift (preferred)
