Performing Arts Teacher

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Auto Enhanced are seeking a Performing Arts Teacher who will be able to teach dance, music and drama classes.

The position would provide part time hours allowing you to fit your teaching around other commitments. This role would be perfect for a performer looking to accommodate some structured additional weekly hours. The working hours are from 5pm - 8pm Monday - Thursday.

This role is self-employed.

As a Performing Arts Teacher at Auto Enhanced you job responsibilities include:

• Providing high quality teaching and learning in music, dance and drama
• Co-ordinating programmes of study and schemes of work
• Providing a different technique for each class each half term
• Help young people prepare for performances each term.
• The ability to demonstrate and perform a variety of dance genres

Essential Requriements:

• A qualification at college level or univerisity level would be required for this role.
• Up to date DBS check
• Consistency and open, honest communication

Desirable skills:

• Energetic
• Excellent communication
• General desire to help children increase confidence and self-esteem through the arts disciplines
• Experience in teaching performance to children aged 6-14

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary: £50.00-£60.00 per day
