Job Specification-

Aquinas Education are in partnership with Secondary schools located in Acocks Green. The OFSTED rated ‘outstanding’ school are seeking to recruit a full time teaching assistant to support across all year groups. This role is an onsite job with benefits such a loyalty bonuses and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will:

Essential

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification or teaching assistant experience
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have school based experience or transferable skills from different sectors eg. health and social care, sports coaching, psychology
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
• Have experience of working with children with SEN needs such as Autism, SLD, PMLD, Behaviour needs and physical disabilities

Desirable

• Specific experience of working with children with SLD
• An engaging and nurturing character
• Ability to be resilient
• Willing undertake training and development
• Hold a Degree in childhood studies, psychology, education

Part-time hours: 32.5 per week

Salary: £75.00-£100.00 per day
