Role Overview & Responsibilities

Growing independant pharmacy group is looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser with excellent patient care to join our team.

The package:

• Full time or part time positions available
• Pension Scheme
• Hourly Rate circa £11.00 to £13.50 depending on qualifications and/or experience
• 20 Days Annual Leave, plus government and public holidays.

The opportunity:

This is a fast-paced environment in which you will be a core member of the pharmacy and healthcare team, therefore, the ideal candidate will have experience within a busy community pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing and be willing to learn and exhibit excellent team-working skills.

We support the development of staff and this is a great opportunity for an individual who may wish to develop their careers, from being a team leader to driving the new service agenda with pharmacy.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

Your main responsibilities will include:

• helping the team with the smooth running of the dispensary
• dispensing medication effectively and safely
• managing stock levels and minimising losses
• assist with counter sales
• working with the pharmacist to deliver services and achieve company targets
• dealing with queries from patients and GP surgeries

As every day is different, this is not an exhaustive list but we are looking for an individual who is willing to embrace that challenge and grow with the pharmacy team.

Experience you’ll need to have:

It is essential that you have experience of working within a pharmacy environment.
