General Maintenance Operative - Mason/Multitrade

The vacancy

Permanent - 39 hours per week

We are on the lookout for an operative to join our successful Home Repairs Service (HRS) team to undertake high quality, pro-active repairs to our properties and make the difference to our customers in our 6,500 homes.

We are seeking someone with a good knowledge of repairs work within domestic properties, holding a strength in carpentry and having some experience in other trades.

Our HRS team are also great at customer service and have experience using tablets and mobile phones at work. All of our operatives receive a company van when they join us, so a full driving licence is required.

Joining Alliance means you will have access to a wide range of training courses, including training on non-licensed asbestos removal.

We have homes across North Somerset, Bristol and Swindon. As one of our operatives, you will be assigned a specific area where you will work the majority of the time, but on occasion you may have to work in another business area (with prior notice).
