Food and Beverage Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, a popular golf and function venue in Harpenden.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service to our members, visiting golfers, casual diners and function guests.

We have a number of casual positions available, offering flexible working with morning, lunch and evening shifts both during the week and at weekends.

What will you be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you are responsible for working in all areas of Food and Beverage as needed to deliver an excellent experience for our customers.

You will be responsible for:

Working in all areas if the department including Bar, Lounge and function / meeting rooms.
Welcoming members and guests in a polite and friendly manner
Taking and delivering customer orders
Preparing drinks and serving food
Preparing function rooms, setting up events, laying tables
Taking payments and following cash handling procedures
Dealing with customer queries in a timely and efficient manner
Ensuring cleanliness of work areas
Complying with security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Complying with local licensing laws

The following are advantageous but not essential:

Previous Food and Beverage and/or hospitality experience
Experience with cash handling
Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £6.75-£10.45 per hour
