Pharmacy Counter Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a counter assistant to join our community pharmacy based in North West London. The ideal candidate should support the pharmacy team in providing a professional and caring service to our patients by comprising the following qualities:

- Excellent communication skills and customer rapport

- Be caring, compassionate and enthusiastic about providing patient care

- Ability to work as part of a healthcare team

- Punctual

- Be able to show initiative

Desirable: if you have previously worked as a pharmacy counter assistant

As a Pharmacy Counter Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring patient receive a professional, attentive service.

Your role will involve:

- Communicating with patients regarding prescriptions and over the counter queries

- Providing clear advice on: health, over the counter medicines and pharmacy products e.g. vitamins, skincare

- Ordering and checking of received goods

- Working with other members of the healthcare team to maintain the safe and effective running of the pharmacy

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £9.00-£10.98 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
