CAD Drafter

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Established nearly 20 years ago, Airtemp AC Ltd has grown to become one of the leading providers of quality heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services from design, installation, maintenance and servicing to a varied range of customers nationwide.

We are now looking to recruit a CAD Draughtsperson on a permanent contract to work alongside our teams in the ventilation and air conditioning department.

Key responsibilities in the role to include:

· Producing construction issue drawings for Ventilation and Air Conditioning using AutoCAD.

· Preparing co-ordinated ductwork drawings.

· Interpret Service Layouts, Architects, Structural and equipment details.

· Producing record drawings for projects.

· Liaising with customers / clients on projects.

· Assisting Project Managers with various tasks as required.

· Ordering materials for projects.

· Authorising invoices for placed orders.

· Visit and conduct site surveys.

The successful candidate will have:

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience using AutoCAD.

· Good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).

· Good presentation and communication skills.

Some experience in ventilation and air conditioning would be advantageous.

Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK.

Benefits to include:

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
