Role Overview & Responsibilities

Train cleaner

Pay: Β£12.22 Per hour

Term: 6-month contract

Location: York YO26 4ZH

Shifts: 4 on 4 off - 8pm - 4am

Are you someone with an eye for detail and commitment to owning your contribution to a fast-paced team? Do you have good communication skills? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We are looking for reliable people with a strong work ethic to join our team

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Working in Groups of 3 or 4 cleaning and maintaining trains and the tracks
  • Performs basic facilities services, cleaning, archiving, mailroom, caretaker or outside such as gardening, and janitorial services.
  • Completes defined and described tasks and routine related work.
  • Maintains grass and vegetation, including removal of snow and debris.
  • Receives general direction from supervisor.
  • Uses tools and power equipment, such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, and liquid and powder applicators.
  • Keeps equipment, indoor and outdoor industrial and office sites in clean and operating condition.
  • No prior experience required
