School Nurse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

ACS International Schools are recruiting a School Nurse for our ACS Egham International School.

We require a School Nurse to work on a full time, permanent basis term time only.

Accountabilities:

• First Aid Care of the Sick or Injured
• Administration
• First Aid Teaching to Staff
• Child Protection
• Health & Safety

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

• A Registered General Nursing qualification RGN/RSCN
• Current NMC registration
• Minimum 3 years post registration experience in nursing preferably with experience of school nursing, health visiting or practice nursing.
• Must be organised and be able to demonstrate that is able to work autonomously.
• Understands and respects the school’s lines of communication.
• Good inter-personal skills and professional confidence.
• Works well as a team and independently.
• Computer literate, excellent record keeping and good organisational skills are vital to this role.

Working hours: this role is based on a 45 hour week, Monday- Friday 0800-1700, term time only.
