Head of Performing Arts

ACS International Schools is seeking a Head of Performing Arts based our Cobham Campus.

This role will include coordinating and overseeing all elements of the Curricular and Co-curricular Performing Arts programs (Music and Drama) and the management of a Performing Arts Centre and development of Arts partnerships within the broader community.

Our state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre was opened in September 2014 and includes some amazing, professional quality facilities including: a 500 seater auditorium complete with fly tower, bespoke drama studios for Middle and High School students and Choral and Musical performance rooms.

You will have the overall responsibility for the daily operation of the Performing Arts department including, but not limited to: curriculum, facilities, personnel, staffing, budget, transportation, maintenance, programming, equipment and scheduling. This role will be scheduled with a Teaching allocation of approximately 50%. The duties and responsibilities of this aspect of the role can be found in the Teacher job description.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

• Proven experience of managing high profile school performances at all levels (essential)
• Previous line management experience (essential)
• Previous knowledge of budget management (essential)
• Able to communicate effectively to key stakeholders
• Previous H&S experience
