Forklift Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Forklift Reach Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a Reach forklift to move materials and products around a warehouse facility, or another worksite. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving goods from one location to another, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities: • Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials and products around a worksite • Load and unload trucks and shipping containers • Move goods from one location to another within the warehouse or manufacturing facility • Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping track of materials and products and reporting discrepancies • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment • Maintain the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packaging, labeling, and shipping products Requirements: • Valid forklift certification and experience operating a counterbalance forklift • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain inventory accuracy • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team • Willingness to follow safety protocols and procedures • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a warehouse environment Hours: • 07:00 - 15:00 (Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
