Drivers Mate/Van Porter

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Van porter required as a part of a 2 man crew for home delivery of flat pack furniture. Driver MUST have transport to and from the depot in Hoo as there is no public transport.

• Heavy lifting, and some stair work will be involved so applicants must be physically fit. Porter will be required to call the customer with an ETA.
• Full Training given
• A typical working week will be Monday - Saturday
• 6.15 start until finish, 15 deliveries maximum across 2 loads.
• This is a self employed position meaning all applicants will be liable for their own Tax and NI.
• Weekly pay, 1 weeks in arrears.
• Reliability essential.
