Job description

We have a pig unit manager's position available, working with our outdoor breeding sow herd. As a family run business, we are looking for a tidy, driven and enterprising person, with whom we can work closely to manage the sow herd, maintain the site and implement new practices to improve the everyday running of the farm. The role entails working alongside the farm owners, as part of a team of 5 (yourself included). The applicant must be motivating, personable and able to lead from the front. Workshop experience is preferable, as it is necessary to carry out ongoing equipment repairs and general farm maintenance.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
