Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Advisor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Swayne and Partners veterinary practice is recruiting for a part time 'twilight' receptionist/client care advisor initially on a 6 month maternity cover post possibly leading to a permanent role to start asap.

Swayne and Partners has been established for over 30 years, we provide veterinary care to our patients 24 hours a day 7days a week from our purpose built building in Western Way, Bury St Edmunds.

Hours will vary but will main rota will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Mondays 15:00 - 21:00 with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

We require someone that is caring and has empathy towards our clients and their pets whilst being organised and efficient. Candidates must have excellent client care skills both face to face and via the telephone and be able to prioritise and multitask. We are a very busy practice, the reception team manage 4 incoming lines, assist clients face to face as well as keeping reception and client areas clean, tidy and restocked.

Successful candidates will get to work with our awesome teams of vet's, nurses and receptionists providing an exceptional level of veterinary care to our patients, however this can be a demanding role in a very busy and sometimes emotionally demanding environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £7.50-£10.42 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Reception screens in place, hand sanitiser available and masks optional. Regular cleaning of high contact areas.

Experience:

• Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
